Welcome
Step 1 - On arrival at sunrise farm proceed to the office for inquiries-sales-payments-collection.
Step 2 - After selecting your sheep/cow/goat our staff will bring you your sheep to the slaughter area.
Step 3 -You may provide names to our Imam for Qurbaan \ Akeekah\ Sadaka.
Step 4 -We will slaughter\clean your sheep and store it over night in our fridge.
Step5 -Customer can collect your sheep next day or arrange for distribution.
Step 6 - Keep your invoice safe - no collection without original invoice - meat must be collected within 24 hours - further storage will cost R100 per sheep daily, customers unable to wait their turn may request our imam to perform their Qurbaan only collect the meat the next day, strictly first come first serve

Important tips
- Customers unable to attend may request Imams to perform thier qurbani.

- Meat can be collected or distributed when ready within 3 days.

- Live sheep taken for home slaughter cannot be returned to premises for skinning or fridge storage and cutting due to strict health department rules.

- Customers who want to buy live sheep, goats or cows to cut at home as traditions, be advised caring for these animals must be according to Islamic teachings.
- The Enclose/kraal must be secure
--Roof/canopy must be available for rain and shade

- Feed/Such as lucerne, oats and proteins, feed and clean water must be available at all times.
- Handling of animals must be respectfull and humane.

Important tips
- Home slaughter facilities must be clean and appropriate.
- Once animal is skinned make sure your meat carcus is refrigerated and stored in a cold fridge +- 2 degrees Celsius within 30min of slaughter.
- Temp must be maintained low for preservation of the meat
- Do not delay but insure your meat goes into your fridge immediately.
- Do not allow carcasses to lay unattended after slaughter, skin immediately and refrigerate..

Services
Slaughtering
Shariah law requires that all animals intended for human consumption by muslims to be slaughted in a specific way. Our slaughtering are done by our experienced muslim personel. It is of utmost importance that the name of our creator be invoked at the commencement of the slaughtering process. Due to our strict compliance with SPCA health regulations customers are regretably not allowed to slaughter their own sheep.
Cleaning
It is not part of our services to clean the internal organs of the slaughted animal but it remains the property of the customer for their consumption
Cutting & packeging
We employ professional butcher's that cut-up customers meat to their specifications
Skinning
Our skilled and trained personel are experienced in removing the skin of the slaughted animals in a professional manner.
Refridgeration
We offer overnight refrigeration of the slaughtered animal before the cutting-up process commences, If deemed necessary by customers.
We adhere to a strict policy of 24 hours before customers collect their refrigerated meat and no indulgences will be considered in that regard. We offer safe and secure storage of the refrigerated meat for the 24 hour period.
